UbicaciónThe tour covers two major Bolivia tourist attractions: Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) located just two hours away from La Paz city, a place surrounded by the mystery of a disappeared Pre-Inca culture and Pariti Island located in Titicaca minor lake just 37 kilometer away from Puerto Perez, this island remained untouched by centuries and is considered the richest Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) culture archeological center. This island is part of the sacred ceremonial islands in the lake and preserves a rich variety of ceramic remains well kept despite the years.
We will pick you up from your Hotel in La Paz city.
The tour starts with a travel by car by the highlands towards Tiwanaku archeological site, one we arrive to Tiwanaku we will have the opportunity to visit the Museum and the Archeological Tiwanaku site, with its major buildings and ceremonial centers.
We will continue our journey traveling by the highlands towards Pariti island we will stop at Quewaya and enjoy a typical lunch of the area and make a a visit to Quewaya archeological site with is chullpares , subsequently we will make a travel by motorboat among the Totorales in Titicaca minor lake, to finally arrive to Pariti Island once there we will visit the famous communitarian ceramic museum of Pariti.
