The Hotel is situated in avery privileged location overlooking the bay, an ideal setting for enjoying theviews of the lake and the incomparable sunsets. The design of Hotel Rosario del Lago blends in perfectly with its surroundings. From the outside, the bright yellow stucco building looks like an old Spanish colonial-style castle.

A cozy 3-star hotel with 24 rooms: a mix of singles, doubles, suites and cabanas, with hot water (and great water pressure!), cable TV, large windows overlooking Lake Titicaca and lots of space.

The Hotel Rosario del Lago is one of the nicest accommodations in Copacabana, located only a few blocks from the main plaza. Its clean, homey rooms, including a spacious suite that sleeps six, have excellent views of the shore of Lake Titicaca.

Room Facilities

In every room, there is a cozy sitting area with large bay windows, where you can curl up with a good book and gaze out over the shores of Lake Titicaca. The suite feels like a small apartment, complete with two bedrooms, a refrigerator, and a separate living room and dining area. Decorated in a colonial style the Hotel Rosario offers 28 comfortable rooms, all with a view of the lake, divided into three levels and all rooms offer:

Standard Rooms: Contain 1 bedroom with 1, 2 or 3 twin beds, private bathroom. The Hotel Rosario also has standard rooms with 1 matrimonial bed and private bathroom. All standard rooms have a view of the lake.

Suite: Contains 1 bedroom with matrimonial bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, large living room with a sofa bed for one child or one adult at additional cost, 2 bathrooms, refrigerator. The living room has a spectacular view of the Lake Titicaca and the Calvary.

Double family rooms: contain 1 matrimonial bed on the bottom floor and additional bed (Type I), or two additional beds (Type II) for children under 12 in the loft. Breakfast is included for all occupants.

Family cabin: This is located in the garden of the Hotel, also with a view of Lake Titicaca. Its design and independence of the main Hotel make it ideal for families. It contains 1 matrimonial bedroom and 1 bedroom with two beds. It also offers a large living room with a sofa bed that sleeps two children or adults. 1 bathroom.

The Restaurant Kota Kahuana ("View of the Lake") specializes (like every eatery in town) in trout caught in Lake Titicaca, as well as international fare. The cooks whip up delicious local fare and the infamous trout that thrives in Lake Titicaca is cooked in a variety of ways, all of which are tasty. Prices are great too. High quality international and regional food. Specialities are fish from the Lake (gourmet prepared) and a variety of pastas, meats, poultry and vegetarian dishes. Healthy salad buffet and a selection of the best wines of the country.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and consist of natural fruits and juices of the season, scrambled eggs, a variety of breads (including bread from Copacabana) pancakes, muesli, yoghurt, butter, jam and hot drinks: tea, coffee, mates, hot chocolate and milk. Terrazas Grill

Hotel Rosario del Lago offers comfortable and versatile halls on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
